Guacamole

I’ve made this more than any other recipe, and it’s a winner every time.

Ingredients

  • 3 avocados — halve, pit, scoop out with a spoon, and lightly mash & stir
  • 1 lime, juiced (they juice better at room temperature)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • 3 tbsp finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1 tsp minced garlic

Steps

  1. In a medium bowl, mash together the avocados, lime juice, and salt.
  2. Mix in onion, cilantro, tomatoes, and garlic.
  3. Refrigerate 1 hour for best flavor, or serve immediately.
